About Us

The Hawa Children's Home in Kajiado Kenya is a child- and family-cantered organization,a street children orphange,rescue centre as well,a rehabilitation centre that is positioned to care for struggling street families and orpnaned children seeking the comfort of a loving family. We have been a beacon in the Kajiado community—providing a safe haven for children (Boy Child) who have suffered abuse, neglect or abandonment. The tradition of love sparked by our founders continues to be our driving force to protect, socially and emotionally heal and care for these orphans,orphaned neglected street children and families.

These values are the essence of our mission to create a community where children and street families feel loved, nurtured, and safe. Children need love. Families need security. That's why we are charged with the responsibility of being the source of strength,hope and opportunity for these destitute children and families. Through our community recognized residential therapeutic program to our Family Support and Resource Centres, we have impacted the lives of many who rely on support and care during times of uncertainty.

Over the years, we have helped more than 500 children realize their dream of a family and a decent live, and we have cared for more than 1500 children in the community. The hawa Children's Home is a local not-for-profit organization serving the Nairobi and Kajiado counties in Kenya.
